Yamaha adds to new models to its vast collection

The CLP-725 has been added to the Clavinova series, whilst the maker also introduces the new Portable Grand DGX-670

Yamaha has added two brand-new models to its ever-growing collection of digital pianos.

The CLP-725 model has been added to the popular Clavinova CLP-700 series, and comes with such highlight features like CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial piano samples, CFX binaural sampling, GrandTouch-S™ keyboard and Grand Expression Modeling.

With its elegant silhouette, the CLP-725 also offers stand out looks in line with the other CLP-700 series models, as well as a music rest in the "uniform Clavinova shape“ and a newly designed control panel.

Elsewhere, the manufacturing giant has released the brand-new DGX-670 Portable Grand. This model combines advanced digital piano technology with an extensive range of playing options for solo or multi-instrumental pieces. Created for both greater mobility, flexibility and freedom, the DGX-670 offers players of all levels new features and functions that make learning, performing and listening a pleasure every time.

The model features an 88-note weighted graded hammer standard (GHS) keyboard with a weighted action that gives the keys a heavier and lighter feel just like the hammers inside an acoustic piano. The DGX-670 also comes equipped with features such as Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM), Master Equalizer and Part EQ, Reverb, Chorus, DSP, Intelligent Acoustic Control (IAC), Stereophonic Optimizer and a Microphone input.

Players of this model can enjoy a choice of 630 authentic sounding instruments from various categories. Additional
highlights include, among others, 601 high-quality Voices including the CFX Grand Piano and 29 Drum-/SFX-kits, 100 Preset Songs and a 4,3-inch colour TFT display. Performances are further enhanced by 263 advanced, automatic accompaniment Styles, which offer players unlimited jam possibilities and numerous musical directions, from classic, rock, big band, R&B and dance.
