'The Superior Sessions' takes place on Saturday 10 July. Virtual tickets are €20 and each Republic of Ireland ticket buyer will automatically be entered into a draw to win a Ritmuller Superior 122 Upright Piano Package valued at €6,500

The Superior Sessions, launched by piano dealer Thornton Pianos, is hosting a live concert this Saturday 10 July with virtual tickets now available to purchase.

The Superior Sessions launched back in September 2020 as a platform to support artists during extremely tough times. This show aims to raise funds for the charity Minding Creative Minds, and will showcase a mix of both contemporary and classical music.

American piano virtuoso David Syme is set to star at the concert, with other performers including some of Ireland's homegrown talent: Nathan Mac, Jacob Koopman, Muireann, Gemma Cox, Megan Burke, Colm Gavin, Martin McDonnell, Sophie Doyle Ryder, Pastiche, Seán Rooney and Last Apollo.

Virtual tickets are priced at €20 each, and excitingly, each ticket buyer (ROI only) will automatically be entered into a draw to win a Ritmuller Superior 122 Upright Piano Package valued at €6,500.

A €6,500 Ritmuller is up for grabs for those with tickets to the event (ROI only)

Alan Thornton of Thornton Pianos comments, "We have been blown away by the response to The Superior Sessions. People have been buying and streaming the album all around the world and we passed 1 million views on all the videos for our emerging artists. We cannot wait for everyone to see our concert from the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre - July 10th.”  He followed: “Our aim is to virtually sell out the venue, 2,111 seats. We are delighted our Superior Sessions artists will be joined by internationally renowned pianist David Syme.”
