The First Prize and Audience Award Winner of 18th Paloma O’Shea Santander International Piano Competition (2015)
One of the leading new generation of Spanish and European musicians, Juan Pérez Floristán has performed widely in Europe, both with orchestras and in chamber music performances.
His main professor at the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid was Galina Eguiazarova and he is currently working with Eldar Nebolsin in Berlin. He has taken part in masterclasses with such performers as Daniel Barenboim, Nelson Goerner, Menahem Pressler, Stephen Kovacevich, and in particular with Elisabeth Leonskaja.
Future engagements include performances with orchestra and recitals in Monterrey, Miami, Puerto Rico and Abu Dhabi, tours in Latin America and in Germany, Hungary and Switzerland.
