Sergei Babayan and Evgeny Kissin among musicians set to perform at free Ukraine fundraiser in Boston

Boston's New England Conservatory will host two concerts in support of Ukraine and the millions of Ukrainians who have been displaced by the war on 17 April & 11 May.

Tickets are free and only require an RVSP, whilst attendees are encouraged to donate via one of the highly rated charities supporting the efforts in Ukraine, as rated by Charity Navigator.

Pianists Sergei Babayan (17 April) and Evgeny Kissin (11 May) and will perform live and in-person at the events, which take place at NEC's Jordan Hall in Boston. Babayan will be joined by fellow pianists Stanislav Khristenko and Andrius Žlabys as well as members of the NEC faculty including Miriam Fried (violin), Kim Kashkashian (viola) and Paul Biss (violin). Kissin will also be joined by NEC artists, as well as his own string quartet.

NEC President Andrea Kalyn comments, “We stand with Ukraine and are in awe of the bravery and love for country and culture that Ukrainians are displaying in the face of this horrendous act of war. We offer these concerts in solidarity on behalf of NEC for Ukraine and its people.”
