One of Europe's biggest festivals has cancelled its 2022 edition

Riga Jurmala Music Festival has announced it will not go ahead with its 2022 edition.

The festival was scheduled to take place in the cities of Riga and Jurmala in Latvia this coming July-August.

However, due to the ongoing situation in Europe, they have decided to cancel the festival. They comment: "We have decided to cancel next summer’s Festival. It is not a decision we take lightly but, in times of such human tragedy, we feel that the right thing to do is to forgo the planned events.
