Launch of Melanie Spanswick’s 2-book piano course on 22 September at Schott Music London
Join Pianist contributor Melanie Spanswick, for the book launch of her new two-book piano course, Play it again: PIANO, published by Schott Music. This event will be held at the Schott Music Shop on Friday 22 September at 7pm in London, and will include a short talk with demonstrations by Melanie, followed by a concert presenting a selection of pieces featured in the books played by students and teachers. There will also be wine, refreshments and a book signing.
Play it again: PIANO is a progressive piano course, intended for all those returning to the piano after a break. The collection contains 49 piano pieces from elementary level (approximately Grade 1) to advanced (approximately Grade 8). The books encompass many styles and genres from classical repertoire through to rock, Latin and blues, with copious practice tips and suggestions for every piece. Come along to discover more about this exciting new series!
