Piano Week comes to Sankt Goar International Music Festival and Academy for the first time in February 2017
Deadline for applications is 20th January!
If you have not heard of PIANO WEEK yet, it is about time you did. Five years on since its humble beginnings in North Wales, Samantha Ward’s international piano festival and summer school is en route to become one of the big household names amongst the music festivals in the UK, Europe and in Asia.
With continuing success, the festival profile has evolved into a touring enterprise with international residencies in China, Italy, Germany and two here in the UK in Moreton Hall and at Rugby School which boasts state-of-the-art facilities.
Each of PIANO WEEK’s residencies has a different character, from the intimate setting of a 1892 villa on the bank of the picturesque Rhine river in Germany, a perfect four-day get away in Umbria to the bustling city of Beijing. All of this is on offer in 2017, but you need to hurry.
Places at PIANO WEEK residency in Sankt Goar, part of the Upper Middle Rhine UNESCO World Heritage Site, are filling up fast.
Dates: 16-19 February 2017
Deadline for applications: 20 January 2017
On Sankt Goar faculty roster:
Samantha Ward | Artistic Director & Founder
Maciej Raginia | Creative Director
Niel Du Preez
