The three other masterclasses taking place over the next fortnight are hosted by violinist Robert Chen (12 May 3-6pm BST), cellist John Sharp (13 May 3-6pm BST), and cellist Gautier Capuçon (14 May 1-4pm BST).

In spite of the pandemic, the Academy has continued its highly insightful work by moving the masterclasses online, with teachers guiding the students remotely over a video-sharing platform, and streaming this feed live on social media.
