YouTube sensation pianist Valentina Lisitsa will be performing an impromptu concert and open rehearsal sessions between 11am to 4pm ath Chappell of Bond Street's historic piano hall this Saturday 16 June
...

A great opportunity to experience one of the world's most exciting pianists at close quarters completely free of charge. The performances come in advance of Valentina's much anticipated concert at the Royal Albert Hall on 19 June. Valentina is a Bösendorfer artist and you will be able to hear her switch between all the Bosendorfer models on show.

Valentina, who is one of YouTube's most-viewed classical artists, will be performing works by Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninov and Scriabin throughout the day. The event will be live streamed via Google Plus and Valentina will be conducting an interview to be broadcast prior to the Albert Hall performance.

Decca will immediately make the recording of her Royal Albert Hall concert available for pre-order with a digital-only release on 25 June, to be followed by the release in CD format on 3 July.

As a ‘thank you’ to her current online fans Valentina makes the concert a fully digital and interactive experience – by inviting fans to vote online to decide what she will play and by fully streaming the concert live via YouTube for those who can’t travel to London. This level of online digital interaction is a first for a solo classical concert.

Valentina has said, 'I am thrilled to be performing at Chappells. I hope the day will provide a very special insight into the every day work of a concert pianist as I prepare for my Albert Hall recital. It'll be very relaxed and I look forward to talking to visitors and being beamed out!'
