New Debussy CD release from Pianist contributor

Lucy Parham has recorded her composer portrait, Reverie – The life and loves of Claude Debussy with acclaimed actor Alex Jennings. Alex has recently been seen as Alan Bennett in The Lady in the Van and as Edward VIII in The Crown.

The CD is now available on the Deux- Elles label and has already received a glowing 4-star review in BBC Music Magazine: ‘Winningly compiled and performed’. 

 

ORDER Reverie – The life and loves of Claude Debussy

 

Over the next few months Parham will perform her Rachmaninov show, Elegie, with Alistair McGowan at the Ulverston Festival (13 June), with Alex Jennings at The Old Granary, Suffolk (1 June), and the Winchester Festival (15 July), and with Henry Goodman at the Cheltenham and Cambridge Festivals (8 and 16 July). She is joined by Martin Jarvis and Rosalind Ayres for a performance of Odyssey of Love (Liszt) at the Lower Machen Festival on 24 June and by Tim McInnerny for a performance of Rêverie (Debussy) at the Ribble Valley Piano Festival on 21 July.
