On 18 April, #TogetherAtHome will be broadcast globally to support frontline healthcare workers and the WHO in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis
Global Citizen wants to celebrate the incredible people working on the front lines against COVID-19, and take action to support the global efforts with the broadcast event premiering on April 18.
Before and during the event, viewers can 'pledge' to stay at home. Once they have pledged, Global Citizen will follow up via email regularly with actions you can take in order to increase your impact.
The online event has been curated in partnership with Lady Gaga, and Lang Lang is set to perform this Saturday 18 April alongside other artists such as Alicia Keys, The Killers, Billie Eilish, John Legend, Ellen Degeneres, Sam Smith, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift, Usher and many more. See the full line-up below.
Lang Lang announced the news on his Instagram page.
I am extremely proud and excited to announce that, this Saturday 18th April, I will be joining a host of incredible talent as part of @glblctzn & @WHO’s One World: #TogetherAtHome global special. Curated by @ladygaga, myself and this incredible line up will be performing in order to support brave healthcare workers doing life-saving work on the front lines, and in support of the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for WHO. This is set to be a spectacular event and I hope to see you all there 😊 (link in my bio)
The event will be broadcast on multiple platforms including YouTube, ABC, Prime Video, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and BBC Music.
