Keeping our hands and body in good condition is absolutely vital when playing the piano. An avoidable injury can completely end somebody's career if we don't properly work on our flexibility and strength.

Pianist Alisdair Hogarth takes a look at the topic of piano fitness, live on Zoom on 8 March. As well as looking at how to develop that flexibility and strength through a concise technical exercise regime, Alisdair will also demonstrate a number of piano exercises alongside other exercises that can be done away from the piano.
