A piano concert held in Aberfeldy, Scotland, has raised £2,411 for Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA).

Local musician Roger Wilson organised and performed the concert, which was held at the Town Hall.

Among Roger's repertoire were Beethoven’s Pathetique and Debussy’s ‘Girl with the Flaxen Hair’, plus works from George Gershwin, Scott Joplin, Chopin, Mozart, and even Bach’s first Prelude played back to front!

Roger performed the pieces cabaret style with the grand piano set among tables and chairs.

Roger said to Scotland's Daily Record: "I was concerned that classical music might be thought elitist, so I put together a programme from the best music over 300 years, giving it a light-hearted feel, introducing the composers to the audience with a few words about them."

The money will go towards the SCAA's operations which, according to their website, involve being an integral part of Scotland’s frontline emergency response network, responding to trauma incidents and medical emergencies across the country, covering an area of more than 30,000 square miles.
