Dominic Ferris will give his debut solo London performance at LIVE AT ZÉDEL on Tuesday 20 February. His show, Me and My Piano, is the first of his 2018 residency at the Piccadilly live music venue.

Me and My Piano will see Dominic Ferris performing a wide variety of musical genres from classical piano repertoire such as Chopin’s Third Ballade and the Gershwin Preludes to the popular hits of piano-songwriters Billy Joel and Elton John, as well as the premiere of some of Dominic’s original compositions.

Dominic will also give a special reprise of Bridge Over Troubled Water which he recorded for the million-selling album Elvis Presley: If I Can Dream with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Dominic joined the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra as Assistant Musical Director and pianist for the Elvis Presley: If I Can Dream UK arena tour, the Czech Symphony Orchestra for the European Tour and Memphis Symphony Orchestra for the USA anniversary tour, culminating in a performance at Graceland with Priscilla Presley for the Elvis 40th Anniversary celebrations.

Much of Dominic’s work lies in the field of musical theatre. He has conducted the Thursford Christmas Spectacular (the largest seasonal production in Europe) and assisted David Charles Abell on the world premiere production of Finding Neverland. Dominic will perform some songs of the stage including Electricity from the musical Billy Elliot amongst others. Dominic is one half of two well-known double acts: The Piano Brothers and Ferris & Milnes

The Piano Brothers (Dominic Ferris and Elwin Hendrijanto) are a cutting-edge piano duo creating their own arrangements for two pianos. They have recently collaborated with the London Symphony Orchestra and will give a concert tour across South-East Asia in Spring 2018.

Ferris & Milnes (Dominic Ferris and Martin Milnes) are a music theatre double-act who are best-known for their mash-up medleys. These include 33 Sondheim Numbers in 5 Minutes, which they premiered at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane at Stephen Sondheim’s 85th Birthday Gala and their new mash-up 30 Gershwin Numbers in Under 6 Minutes which they recently premiered at the Lincoln Center in New York to commemorate the 80th year of the composer’s passing.
