The Russian pianist will be replaced by Lukas Vondracek

Daniil Trifonov has pulled out of a scheduled performance with the Cleveland Orchestra this weekend, citing an acute arm injury.

He was due to perform Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No 2 at Blossom Music Centre on Saturday 13 August. He will now be replaced by Czech pianist Lukas Vondracek, making his Cleveland Orchestra debut performing the same concerto.
