Breakfast show presenter Tim Lihoreau will be dragging a 400lb upright across Central London on 8 October

Tim will start at Classic FM's studio in Leicester Square and finish up at the Royal Albert Hall, amassing 5 miles in total. He will be raising money for Global’s Make Some Noise charity, which supports local charities like Cambridgeshire’s Cam Sight.

The 400lb instrument weighs the equivalent of two grown men - so it's certainly not an easy task!

How will he drag the piano?

The Classic FM host, who presents The School Run show every morning at 8.15am, has been training hard in the lead up to the event.

“I’m on a training regime, which is mainly walking very fast over increasing periods of time," he told the Cambridge Independent. "We did about three hours on Saturday - about 18k - and we’ll have to up it as it gets closer and maybe put something on my back, and do a bit of rowing and a bit of cross-training - once we get to the day, I have no idea how it will go. I’m a tiny bit worried, but we’ll find out on the day.”
