The Yamaha NU1X features the sparkling treble and full-bodied bass of one of the finest instruments that Yamaha has ever made, the CFX concert grand. Using acoustic technology unique to Yamaha, it reproduces the characteristic resonance felt when playing an acoustic instrument. Also found within NU1X, one of the most iconic and historic grand pianos: the Bösendorfer Imperial. The sonorous tones and rich resonance are portrayed in part due to Yamaha’s exclusive VRM technology. The NU1X is able to understand every nuance of damper and string, allowing it to recreate even the subtlest resonance in real time.

The NU1X also features a damper pedal similar to that of a grand’s resistance curve – starting out light and
growing heavier – allowing the player to recreate the detail of delicate pedaling experienced when playing an acoustic piano.
