Kawai K-15
Kawai’s K-15 has long been a favourite entry point into the world of fine acoustic pianos. Compact and affordable, it nevertheless delivers the warmth, clarity, and responsiveness associated with Kawai’s larger uprights. Its solid spruce soundboard and carefully engineered action give it a singing tone and a satisfying touch, while its understated cabinet design fits easily into smaller homes or studios. For newcomers looking for an authentic acoustic experience, the K-15 offers an impressive start.

A Kawai from the K Series
Kawai K-200
The K-200 marks a step up in refinement and control. At 45 inches tall, it produces a fuller tone than smaller uprights, aided by a robust soundboard and Kawai’s advanced Millennium III action – a carbon composite design that enhances speed and stability. The result is a piano that responds beautifully to nuanced playing, making it a reliable companion for students and teachers alike. Its balanced tone and consistency have made it a staple in music schools and practice studios around the world.
Kawai K-300
With the K-300, Kawai brings professional-level tone and touch to the upright piano form. It shares much of its DNA with the company’s grand pianos, from the extended key length to the premium action materials that ensure precision and longevity. The K-300’s larger soundboard and longer strings provide a resonant, projecting sound that can easily fill a small performance space. This model sits comfortably in conservatories and studios, where both reliability and expressive depth are paramount.
Kawai E-200
Built in Kawai’s renowned Indonesian factory, the E-200 strikes an appealing balance between craftsmanship and value. It carries the solid spruce soundboard and responsive action Kawai is known for but is presented in a simpler, more understated form. Designed with schools, teaching studios, and homes in mind, the E-200 delivers a clear, even tone and a satisfying tactile feel – proof that quality and affordability can indeed go hand in hand.
Kawai E-300
The E-300 takes the solid foundation of the E-200 and adds greater depth and projection. Its enhanced soundboard design and refined action make it a rewarding choice for intermediate and advanced players seeking a responsive, expressive instrument that doesn’t dominate a room. Like all Kawai uprights, it’s built with durability in mind – a piano that can withstand years of daily practice while retaining its tone and touch.
Kawai GL Series
Kawai’s GL Series represents the company’s most accessible range of grand pianos, but we don’t think there’s anything ‘entry-level’ about their performance. The series benefits from the same Millennium III action found in Kawai’s premium models, offering a consistent and agile touch. Despite their compact dimensions, the GL grands produce a rich and resonant tone, with the smaller GL-10 being a particular favourite among pianists looking for grand piano feel in a limited space. Each model is crafted to deliver the signature warmth and singing tone that define Kawai’s grand piano lineage.

Kawai GL-10
Kawai GX Series
At the top of Kawai’s acoustic range sits the GX Series – a collection of grands that combine traditional craftsmanship with state-of-the-art materials and design. These instruments are built for serious performance: powerful, nuanced, and exquisitely balanced. Their tapered spruce soundboards and precision-engineered actions create a tonal palette capable of great subtlety and strength. Whether on stage, in the studio, or in the home of a demanding pianist, the GX Series offers a concert-level experience that reflects Kawai’s nearly century-long pursuit of piano perfection.
Kawai ATX3L (AnyTime Hybrid Piano)
The ATX3L is Kawai’s clever solution for pianists who need the feel of an acoustic instrument but also value the ability to play silently. As part of the company’s ‘AnyTime’ hybrid range, it allows players to engage a digital system that captures every nuance of the key action, delivering an authentic piano sound through headphones. It’s ideal for late-night practice or shared living environments, and with its advanced sound engine and realistic digital voices, it offers far more than just quiet play – it’s a full-featured instrument in its own right.

Kawai K-300 ATX4
Kawai ATX4
Building on the success of the ATX3L, the latest ATX4 takes hybrid technology to a new level. Its improved tone engine and upgraded headphone amp technology create an immersive sound experience, even when playing acoustically. The addition of Bluetooth connectivity makes it easy to integrate with apps, recording setups, or streaming devices. The ATX4 isn’t just about convenience – it’s about musical freedom, allowing pianists to shift effortlessly between acoustic authenticity and cutting-edge digital versatility.
Kawai AURES2
The AURES2 represents the most advanced hybrid concept in Kawai’s line-up – a true acoustic piano that doubles as a powerful digital instrument. Using high-fidelity transducers attached to the soundboard, it can generate a vast array of digital sounds and effects while maintaining the resonance and touch of an acoustic piano. Add Bluetooth streaming and app control, and you have a piano that’s as inspiring to the ear as it is flexible to use. For modern musicians seeking both tradition and innovation, the AURES2 offers the best of both worlds.
