Chopin Prelude No 24

Filmed in Hamburg, 2007, during his recording of the Chopin Preludes for Deutsche Grammophon. Magical stuff.

 

 

Debussy Pour le piano, L. 95, 2. Sarabande

Taken from another album recording session in 2011, Blechacz plays one of Debussy's Sarabandes for Deutsche Grammophon.

 

 

Chopin Concerto No 1, Second Movement 'Romance Larghetto'

Another magnificent interpretation of Chopin from his fellow Pole.

Chopin Polonaise, Op 40 in A major

Blechacz won the Gilmore Artist Award back in 2014. Here he performs at The Greene Space in New York just after being announced as the award winner.

The award is given every four years to "an international pianist of any age and nationality following a rigorous and confidential selection process." It comes with $300,000 and is considered one of the preeminent awards in classical music.

An absolute classic Chopin Waltz on display here, which Blechacz puts his stamp on.

A treat for the watching Italian crowd at Venice's Teatro La Fenice during the 2017/18 season.

 

 

Chopin Piano Sonata No 3 in B minor Op 58: II. Scherzo

Blechacz performs for Deutsche Grammophon in celebration of his brand new Chopin album released just last week.
