Sign up for this four-day residency that offers participants of any age and ability the chance to study with distinguished concert pianists

For those of our readers who tend to make decisions on impulse and rather last-minute, they now have a chance to indulge themselves by combining the love for piano playing with the Italian scenery and cuisine. After its first ever residency in China supported by Steinway Piano Asia Pacific Co. Ltd, PIANO WEEK is travelling to Foligno in Italy to inaugurate another one of its international residencies. If you have not come across this festival before, watch a short introduction from the Artistic Director, Samantha Ward:

The Festival and Summer School’s short appearance in Umbria between 20th-23rd April 2017 is lead by Samantha Ward, PIANO WEEK’s Artistic Director and Founder and Maciej Raginia, its Creative Director. All master classes and concerts are based at Scuola Comunale di Musica A. Biagini, a beautiful building right in the heart of the old town. This four-day residency offers participants of any age and ability an opportunity to study with distinguished concert pianists in the inspiring surroundings of the first official Roman city, which dates back to 295 BC. Although this course is suitable for non-residential participants, a 15% discount on accommodation and restaurant meals is still available in selected hotels to anyone interested.
