For most people, buying a piano is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It can be exciting and inspiring, but it can also be intimidating and nerve wracking: will that dream piano in the showroom turn out to be a painful mistake in the home?
When Peregrine’s Pianos opened in 2010 as the first new piano shop in Central London for 30 years, we had a keen sense of purpose. The business is run by musicians and we offer a wide ranging selection of upright and grand pianos for sale, professional rehearsal facilities, and a comprehensive piano hire service.
We are the London dealer for two of the finest German piano manufacturers and now have hundreds of happy customers throughout England, Scotland and Wales. Our showroom features a wide range of instruments and we have a host of publications and videos to demonstrate the unique qualities of the pianos we sell.
In 2012 Peregrine’s Pianos arranged a one-day visit to the Schimmel factory in Braunschweig for customers to see the assembly of the pianos. We found that seeing beyond the soundboard gave customers the assurance that their dreams would never be shattered; it inspired the confidence to buy without apprehension. The visit has been repeated three times and the most recent, in April this year, can viewed on our YouTube channel.
The August Förster factory is one of the oldest established piano factories in the world and Peregrine’s Pianos is pleased to announce this two-day visit. The details can be found on then attached brochure and it has been organised because of the enormous amount of interest in these pianos. Indeed, Peregrine’s Pianos was awarded “One of best August Förster dealers worldwide 2014” and “The best August Förster dealer worldwide 2015.”
Guests are asked for a nominal charge of £320 per person to include all items listed in the itinerary, including a private hotel room, and Peregrine’s Pianos will discount this against the subsequent purchase of an August Förster piano. We will be filming the day in order to post a short summary on our YouTube channel and all participants consent to being included.
