Gathering Notes in May

Piano tuners compare notes in Shrewsbury

The 200-strong membership of the Pianoforte Tuners’ Association meets for its annual convention on 11-13 May. The weekend offers a unique chance for the members of a solitary profession to network with colleagues, gather clients and swap stories of worn-out dampers and broken pins. Steinway & Sons and Kawai UK sponsor classes, and there will be experts on hand from Yamaha Pianos UK to offer training and support, including a class dedicated to the installation of digital technology in a fully acoustic instrument.

Application details HERE.
