John Lewis advert inspires Brits to shop pianos this Christmas
It looks like the new John Lewis advert has inspired people to shop for pianos!
Casio tells us that there has been a 101% surge in enquires for Casio's pianos and keyboards. The popular piano brand has reported a surge in interest for its piano and keyboard ranges following the launch of the John Lewis Christmas TV advert featuring Elton John. Casio website visits have more than doubled compared to the same time last year, with Brits taking inspiration to shop pianos this Christmas.
With the piano the focus of the festive advert for the department store John Lewis, Brits have been inspired by the tribute to the musical legend Elton John and how his first piano was 'more than just a gift'. Since the advert launched on 14th November, visits to the Casio website have more than doubled, surging at 101% - compared to the same period last year.
Head of EMI at Casio, Neil Evans says: 'Musical experiences and opportunities is the perfect gift to offer a loved one this Christmas. The John Lewis advert has shined a light on how magical and inspirational the gift of a piano can be.
