The Royal College of Music Philharmonic Orchestra will hold the concert on 22 June

The Royal College of Music’s Philharmonic Orchestra will hold a fundraiser concert on Thursday 22 June to raise money for the residents of Grenfell Tower affected by the tragic fire on 14 June. All ticket income from the concert will go to the Kensington and Chelsea Foundation, who have coordinated an appeal with support from London Funders and the London Emergency Trust Fund.

RCM works closely with many of the schools, children and families in the affected area through RCM Sparks, an award-winning learning and participation programme, and they are very much part of the RCM community.

Martin André will conduct the RCM Philharmonic in the world premiere of RCM Concerto Competition winner Joel Jarventausta’s Cantus, as well as Rimsky-Korsakov’s Sherherazade Op. 35.
