Full Description

Originally written with the harpsichord in mind, the E minor suite represents the composer’s voice at its most intimate and domestically scaled. When Buxtehude wrote it remains unclear, though it was probably during his 35-year tenure as organist of the Marienkirche in the north German port of Lübeck.
