Bösendorfer

‘Beethoven’ 200

Beethoven was born in Bonn in 1770 and moved to Vienna in 1792 where he lived and worked for the rest of his life until his death in 1827. During this period, Beethoven composed all of his immortal masterpieces further consolidating Vienna’s position as the musical centre of Europe. A year after Beethoven’s death, Ignaz Bösendorfer started his piano factory in 1828, drawing upon ideas of sound from Vienna’s cultural environment, which was profoundly influenced by Beethoven.

Bösendorfer are proud to share this link in musical style. This limited edition model is a fitting tribute to the heritage they share.

Many distinguished artists choose Bösendorfer pianos for their performance of Beethoven’s works for a truly authentic sound. The creation of the ‘Beethoven’ 200 is the ultimate tribute to the man who to this day exerts huge influence on the piano world. This is an instrument that will delight and astonish, a source of inspiration, and a homage from one of the world’s great piano manufacturers to one of its greatest composers.
