When in ‘ silent’ mode the instrument utilises a digital sample of a Yamaha concert grand through the headphones reproducing and capturing all the tonal subtleties of a grand piano. The shift of a lever stops the hammers from striking the strings as the control unit activates the digital samples.

MIDI terminals (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) allows connection to other musical instrument or computers further extending the capabilities of these innovative instruments. Other inputs allow you to play along with pre-recorded music or amplify your performance.
