If you didn't know this already, Pianist is the piano magazine
for people who love to play the piano. You don't just read Pianist
- you play it too! Whether you're an amateur, an advanced player,
or someone who is returning after years of neglect, you'll find
that Pianist is just what you need.
The magazine contains all the interviews, features and reviews you'd expect from a
top music magazine, plus specially selected sheet music for players at beginner,
intermediate and advanced level. Each issue contains a unique 40-page pullout
section of sheet music - from the Baroque to Bacharach - with expert notes to
technique and interpretation. This section is even on different paper quality
that resembles manuscript paper, so it feels like the 'real' thing. There's also
a four-page Method section entitled 'Keyboard Class', where the focus on is on
gaining freedom at the keyboard and learning how to improvise.
A specially recorded tutorial CD comes free with every issue, so that you can
hear all the pieces inside the Scores section before you sit down and learn them.
