Where can I buy Pianist Magazine?

What the readers say!

I enjoy the magazine hugely. It seems to have the perfect combination of a very wide range of articles and information – the Cover Interview (always interesting), the Q&A (invaluable), the Craft of Playing (wonderful!), product reviews, Education (again invaluable) etc. I really have no suggestions for improvement and hope very much that you will continue as you are!

Your magazine has helped me immensely. The information you’ve provided is worth more than a million dollars... You’re the GREATEST!

I have been an avid reader of Pianist since its first issue, which was published as I was beginning to learn, so we have grown together! I pass Pianist on to my piano teacher and that we both, at very different levels of ability and experience, find it interesting and valuable, both for the articles and for the wonderful array of music (glad you now use matt paper for the scores). I first found it by chance in our local newsagents, but was soon a subscriber and fan!

David Cash’s Keyboard Class tutorials are terrific, as is your entire magazine. It is interesting to note that the magazine is really the only periodical in English that provides information and insight about the world of pianos and pianists. I find the magazine an inspiration – I am currently memorising Beethoven’s Minuet in G from the last issue. The CDs and the scores are showing me the scope of the piano literature, and give me much joy. And I read every article and review! I am a subscriber, and value your magazine beyond words. May you and your magazine prosper.

I've been reading Pianist for years and have rarely written but wanted to thank you for the Modern scores. The first thing I look at in the magazine is the Modern Piece and some are so wonderful. Thanks again!

I love Keyboard Class. I think it is great. I love the magic involved in all those chords. David Cash is excellent and no doubt would be easy to talk to and discuss things with. I look forward to Dame Fanny Waterman’s Lessons too. And so congratulations on a great, interesting and helpful magazine and here’s to the next 50 publications.

I took my first piano lesson in 1946 at the age of 7, and struggled through several years of lessons. I never practised, never worked at it, but enjoyed messing about at the keyboard. All through my life I have had access to a keyboard of one type or another, although the only thing I learnt from those lessons was how to translate those circles into a note on the keyboard. I cannot say I could read music, all that foreign writing, the funny lines, those dots, meant nothing to me. Just about three years ago I decided to try again, found a teacher, and I spend hours at the keyboard now, and Pianist is essential reading for me. I am currently working on the Clara Schumann piece from issue no 51 – I love it! I do so enjoy working and playing at the piano. There is such a sense of achievement when I add a new piece of music to my repertoire. My only regret is that it took me 64 years to find this enthusiasm.

It was about three years ago that we discovered Pianist magazine at a small magazine store in our neighborhood. From then on we went to the store to not miss a single issue. I compliment you for your hard work. Each issue of Pianist shows the hard and dedicated work.

Maria Pollock, Chicago

Thanks so much for putting together a terrific magazine. I love getting it, always look forward to reading it and am never disappointed.
