Erica Worth has been editor of Pianist Magazine
since its launch in 2001. Prior to this, she worked as an artist
manager at the agency IMG Artists, where she represented the
percussionist Evelyn Glennie and cellist Julian Lloyd Webber
among others. Before that, she worked for EMI (Classics) Records
UK as a press officer, escorting journalists around the world
to festivals and to artist interviews, as well as arranging product
launches in the UK. |
The piano has always been part of Erica’s life. She started
playing at the age of five and went on to receive her BA from
the Manhattan School of Music (New York) where she studied under
Constance Keene. Like many performance graduates, Erica decided
that the life of a concert pianist was not something she wanted
to strive towards, so she returned to the UK to embark on a career
in the business side of classical music. She’s found her
dream job in Pianist Magazine!
